“We travelled from Scotland and stayed at the Beamish Mary Inn on 4th August for 1-night x 2 people. Full English Breakfast, a pot of coffee, toast, Jam, Cereal included for £49. The welcoming was superb from the moment we walked in the door to the moment we left. The room was cosy and had everything we needed. The atmosphere was very very friendly. The 3-course evening meal was absolutely superb as well as very generous portions for £21 for the 2 of us, we did not manage the third course, try getting that anywhere else in the UK! The beers are reasonably priced, but the staff we have to say were all absolutely priceless, so friendly and chatty we were made to feel very welcome. “We stayed there initially because it was a 5-minute drive to Beamish Museum, however, we would go back just to explore the quaint area around the Beamish Mary Inn or just chill and enjoy the atmosphere & the Locals who were very friendly.”

“We went last Sunday for lunch and it was so good .My husband and I had the beef and my cousin (who was visiting from America ) she had the pork . The meat was so tender and the meals were served red hot and with a big gravy boat of extra gravy .The staff were lovely and the meals were served quickly . Proper home made Yorkshire puddings and all the vegetables were fresh .Well done Beamish Mary Inn ,we will definitely be back for more.”
